WTF you just said that your "mate" broke a "non weakened" one at UKBP so it would break either way, drilled or not.

if a "non weakened one" breaks anyway then there is no point in not drilling it surely (it will break either way according to you)

the chain guide takes no real pressure and I also only did small holes on the bottom one to keep some strength.

The LS1 rocks, same performance as the lg1 (i haven't dropped a chain yet with it) but about half the price.
